Obituary of Rose Eileen Waugh

Her Legacy… Rose Eileen Waugh was born in Chico, CA on April 24, 1946 at Enloe Hospital. Rose was the sixth of seven children born to Carel Givins and Mae Teresa Josephson of Sterling City, CA. She was raised in Butte County and remained there most of her life. She attended Canyon View School and graduated from Paradise High School in 1964. Rose did volunteer work for the Bobby Sox, Little League, and Wrestling. She was proud of her Indian Heritage and was a member of the Paradise, Yankee Hill, and Butte Historical Societies.

Her Family… After graduation Rose married Charlie Waugh on Nov 28, 1964.  They were married for 59 years. She travelled with her husband as he worked for PG&E until 1975 when they moved to Oroville, CA. They had 3 children: Terri Waugh, Jerri Lefever, and Chuck Waugh all of Oroville, CA.  Rose is survived by her husband Charlie Waugh, 3 children: Terri Waugh, Jerri Lefever, and Chuck Waugh,  3 grand children: Hunter Waugh, Zoe Lefever, Allison Lefever, and 2 great grandchildren: Lovella and Weston, and her nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Her Farewell Service… Rose’s Memorial Service will be held November 9, 2024 at 1pm at Ramsey Funeral Home, 1175 Robinson St, Oroville, CA (530) 534-3877 Reception is to follow at the Eagles Club 2010 Montgomery St., Oroville, CA.
