Obituary of Kenneth Earl Parker
KENNETH E. PARKER, age 63 of Oroville California passed away Thursday, November 25, 2022. He was born January 10, 1959, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Henry E. Parker and Pauline Parker.
Ken graduated from Admiral Arthur W. Radford High School in Honolulu, Hawaii. He loved sports and was a dedicated Raiders fan. Throughout his youth he played football and baseball.
Ken served in the United States Airforce from 1977-?. He was an avid saxophone player and a member of the United States Air Force Academy Drum and Bugle Corps also known as the Flight of Sound.
He is survived by his mother Pauline Parker, sons Michael Parker (Andrea), Timothy Parker, Micah Parker Biesinger (Carlie), James Parker, Hayden James Archie, and Solomon Parker. His daughters, Michelle Parker Blanco (Brett), Laura Parker, Whitney Parker Wilkerson (Brady), Christina Parker, Jasmine Parker Smith (Deuntae). His siblings, Diana M. Greene, Raymond L. Parker (Sophia) and Helen D. Williams. 23 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ken was preceded in death by his father Henry E. Parker and sister Chandra Darlene Parker Ellerbe.
Funeral services for Ken will be Sunday December 18, 2022, at 6pm at the Heathman Lodge, Vancouver Washington. Ken will be laid to rest at the Vancouver Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors.
Ken once shared a quote, “Laugh your heart out and dance in the rain. Cherish the memories and ignore the pain. Love and learn, forget, and forgive because remember you have only one life to live.” Unknown
