Obituary of Buddy Leroy Burris

Buddy Leroy Burris was born on October 24, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to Orvill and Edna Burris. Buddy passed away on June 19, 2016 in Gridley, California. Buddy worked with the Railroad in management for 39 years. He married his beloved wife Rosalita Halstead on April 29, 1982 and they spent 34 years together. He was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and the Moose Auxiliary. Buddy is survived by his loving wife Rosie of Biggs, CA; his children, Cheryl Ryan of Apple Valley, CA; Debra Wing of Oroville, CA; Rodney Osborne, Samuel Osborne both of Redding, CA; his sister Georgina Dehaurte of Sacramento, CA; his brother Jack Burris of Oregon and six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Joanna Burris. Buddy will be interred at Gridley Biggs Cemetery in a private service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Association or the Parkinson's Association or charity of your choice.
