Obituary of Sarah louise Stokes
Sarah Louise Stokes, 37, of Oroville passed away in her sleep April 5, 2020.
Born in Yuba City on August 9, 1982 to Donna Macy and Michael Stokes, Sarah spent her early years in Northern California. In 1990 Sarah moved to Alaska with her family where she graduated high school. After graduation, she moved back to Yuba City, CA and began a clerical career, eventually having two sons: Derek and David Chaney.
Sarah and her husband, Jacob Stradiota moved to Oroville in early 2011 to care for her grandmother, Irene Stokes. Her sons and stepchildren: Kayden and Zoey Stradiota and her nephew: Cuauhtemoc (Temo) Rangel completed her happy family.
Sarah’s entire family including her siblings: Melissa (Bindi) Daman, Heather Macy, Andrew (Candice) Macy and Michael Stokes, Jr, her nephews and nieces, her grandmother, father, mother, and stepfather, Lyle Heath, were all kept close due to her influence and love.
Sarah will be remembered most for her love of painting, gardening, and being with her family and friends especially at the lake.
